Elias Woodwork & Manufacturing Ltd. is a cabinet component manufacturer in Winkler, Manitoba, that was in need of a new shop space.
Wiebe’s was responsible for the install of the new 48,000-square-foot structure, featuring 12-inch pre-cast concrete walls and a thermal roof system, overhead doors, and the man-doors & windows.
The rafters of this building are conventional steel, supplied by Wiebe’s, replacing pre-engineered components due to supply-chain issues.
Wiebe’s was also responsible for installing the foundation and floor. Because of concerns with nearby plant-interference, the builder opted not to use piles, meaning the entire structure sits on a footing.
